At the beginning of the year, Christian won the travel bag from HEAD, which was presented 2018 travel bag test in collaboration with Tennis-Point . The travel bag was our test winner - so we were really excited to see how well Christian got along with the travel bag on his tennis trips and what his conclusion and rating was. He immediately put the travel bag through a real endurance test: 4 days of training camp in Slovenia.
"The Head Team Travel absolutely lives up to its name. You could store things for a 2-3 man team in it for 4 days. I was tempted by the 4 days in Slovenia and the size of the bag not to think and just pack it up. Starting with 12 sets of tennis clothes (shirt and shorts), followed by as many pairs of tennis socks, underwear for 4 days of sports sessions. Plus leisure clothes: 4 shorts, 1 long pair of trousers, 10 normal T-shirts, jacket, tracksuit, 6 pairs of shoes (1 Spare tennis shoes, 2 x leisure shoes, 1 x running shoes + sandals and flip flops) as well as various drink bottles, isotonic powders and everything else you need (passport, books, magazines, bandages, etc.).
After all, there was still some space, which of course I filled up (who can ? ). I didn't even use half of it, but that was it. If you're going on a tennis vacation for a week or plan to go out for a fancy meal in the evening, then this thing is the "court safe" you need for a sports/pleasure vacation. Half my closet actually goes in there. The rollers still run smoothly and cleanly under full load. Even in the hotel on carpeted floors they were absolutely no problem. The handles are well made and stable.
The only small drawback might be the carrying handle on the top. When fully loaded (which is rarely the case given their size), these are very tight around the bag and it is difficult to get between the handle and the bag or you have to squeeze in some space. Therefore, in my opinion, these could have been a little more generous. Since you usually only carry the bag by the handle when loading and unloading the car or for a short time on the stairs and otherwise travel on the wheels, this isn't a big problem. The zippers also make a robust impression.
Overall, I am thrilled with the Head Team Travel. A space monster with a great look. Will definitely be using it more often."
