College tennis - that is currently concerned with me and our family. After our daughter Mia went to the United States as a student two years ago, we are in the middle of the "onboarding" process for the second time. Our son Tom will also pack his tennis matters in August to open a college in Alabama. Reason enough to talk to Dennis Eichner, dad of 17-year-old Leni Eichner from Meerbusch. Leni will also graduate from high school in the spring and will fly to college tennis with a scholarship to the USA, so that the two are currently facing exactly the same questions and challenges as we do. An exchange of experiences among parents , which Dennis and I find very valuable. Even if we go through the process for the second time, an exchange of experiences is extremely valuable. It is better and better open up the large wide world of college tennis and at the same time shows that there are some differences. You will soon find out in a separate blog post how the whole thing works at Tom. Today everything revolves around Dennis and Leni and her way to the USA . Let's go!

Our last TennisTraveller exclusive camp in 2024 was another absolute camp highlight! Under the motto “Tennis ON FIRE” we were guests at the Hotel zum Mohren in Reutte in Tyrol from November 14th to 17th, 2024. Of course, the participants were on fire during the three-day tennis training with Andreas Gerstgrasser and I's Pro Tennis School. It was particularly hot during the cardio tennis, which made everyone sweat profusely and ensured a good atmosphere, but also sore muscles. But that's not all: we also put together a wonderful, "hot" supporting program away from the tennis court. The camp was timed so that it coincided with one of the absolute event highlights in Reutte. At the opening of "Reutte on Ice" rocked with Beatrice Egli and various DJs, at Ehrenberg Castle we immersed ourselves in the world of lights of the LuMagica and were able to enjoy a gourmet menu with wine accompaniment in the hotel. All in all, once again a very special exclusive camp that all participants really enjoyed. And like in the previous exclusive camps, we were a wonderful group, had a lot to talk about and laugh about - we were almost always "ON FIRE". You can find out what it looked like on the four days of camp and what we experienced in my travel report here. The excellent participant feedback made the hotel, the Pro Tennis School and of course me especially happy!
