More excitement, faster games and professional organization , supported by the latest technologies that promise a tournament experience 2.0 . That is the promise of the NK-4 European Fast-4 Tennis Race. The aim of the international tournament series is to generate new enthusiasm for tennis among young people, amateur and team players and, above all, to reawaken the fascination for the sport among young players.
Fast-4 tennis is basically nothing new: the sets are played on 4, no-ad and no-let apply, so a match usually lasts less than an hour. This guarantees excitement and variety.
The race was initiated by Nicolas Kiefer , a former tennis professional with six ATP Tour tournament victories and the silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
As a ROBINSON brand ambassador and also at home in Hanover, Nicolas is regularly on the tennis court and therefore knows what makes a tournament format attractive and what the players want.
Similar to a LK daily tournament, you have two guaranteed games on one day, but the short sets to 4 make the whole thing even more “compressed”. Amateur players and team players can take part in the tournaments . There are great prizes to be won at every tournament. And at the end, the best 8 players in an age group will be able to take part in the Masters . The Masters will be held in the youth competitions in Halle, Westphalia, and in the adult and senior competitions in a ROBINSON Club, whereby the stay for the Masters participants is free of charge. Two very special highlights that are definitely worth collecting points for.

Of course, the first tournaments of the NK-4 series are already taking place at our hotel and camp partners. That's why we don't want to withhold from you the assessment of Andreas Gerstgrasser, owner of the Pro Tennis School in Reutte in Tyrol .
Andreas organized an NK-4 tournament for the first time in the summer of 2023 and says:
"The NK-4 tournament series is simply great for me as a tournament organizer! We organized the first tournament to really bring the facility to life in the summer and particularly appeal to our hobby players. We succeeded in doing that straight away. The short sets and others Rules bring quick matches and lots of variety.
Organizing the tournament via the platform was really easy. Here you can see that real professionals were at work during the development. For me as a tournament organizer, the NK-4 series is also a format in which we can earn some money directly and without risk.
Particularly noteworthy is the commitment and support of Nicolas Kiefer and his business partner Andreas Riediger, owner of an IT company and expert in the field of digitalization (sitaas GmbH). Both were always available as contacts and actively inquired several times before, during and after the tournament whether everything was going well.
We will definitely host more NK-4 tournaments here."
