The Isar Open becomes the Swabian Open and TennisTraveller remains a tournament partner
After the successful tournament debut last year under the Isar Open flag at TC Großhessellohe in Munich, the ATP Challenger tournament moving this year. The organizing team around Alessandra Trenkle will host the tournament from 5th to 11th. August at the TC Augsburg facility at Siebentischwald . And in addition to the new venue, there is also a new tournament name: the Schwaben Open.
We are of course very pleased to be at the start again this year as a tournament partner . The second largest tennis event in Bavaria after the BMW Open can already score points with outstanding player names : Rudi Molleker, Daniel Altmaier, Kevin Krawietz and Daniel Masur have already confirmed their participation.
Further commitments from well-known players are expected over the next few weeks. Either way, spectators at the Swabian Open will see men's tennis at its finest. The ATP Challenger tournament belongs to the category 80 tournament, which means that 80 world ranking points can be awarded. And in addition to the world ranking points, there is also prize money totaling 46,600 euros.
Theme days with an attractive supporting program at the traditional club TC Augsburg
The organizers have come up with something very special this year: there will be a daily theme with a corresponding supporting program . A family day, kids day, ladies day, networking day, health and fitness day, charity cup and white sausage early shopping are planned. Exciting days are also guaranteed away from the tennis court!
The beautiful tournament facility of the traditional club TC Augsburg is being “expanded” with a grandstand with at least 500 seats. In general, the enthusiasm and anticipation for the Swabian Open among the board of directors of TC Augsburg is huge, as the ATP Challenger tournament will bring major tennis sport to the already tennis-loving region. Accordingly, the club is fully behind the tournament.

Inexpensive ground tickets are available for just €5, grandstand tickets are available from €10 and VIP tickets are available from €120. Tickets are cheaper when sold in advance than at the box office during the tournament week.
