What golf options does your hotel offer?In our hotel we not only offer a mini golf course in front of our house 😊, but also two different golf offers “ With drive from the mountain to the lake ” and “ tee off in the Carinthian Nockbergen ”.
Which golf courses are there in your area?The approximately 60 hectare Bad Kleinkirchheim golf arena Millstätter golf course is half an hour's drive away Lake – with a wonderful view of the lake! It has 18 holes with a driving range with chipping, pitching and putting greens, a compact course with three par-3 holes, a clubhouse with a pro shop, a caddy room and a publicly accessible restaurant with a large terrace. Introductory courses as well as courses from beginners to advanced are offered at both locations by experienced golf pros.
Why do you think tennis & golf is a great combination for a holiday in Carinthia?In our house you can wonderfully combine a tennis and golf holiday, as the hotel's own tennis courts are located "in front of the hotel door" and the golf arena can also be reached in a few minutes. The proximity to the infrastructure as well as the scenic beauty and diversity between mountain and lake make this combination so attractive.
What makes golf in Carinthia so special?In our opinion, the mild climate with many hours of sunshine in a beautiful landscape makes golfing in Carinthia so special. The warm hospitality, delicious Alpine-Adriatic cuisine and the variety of leisure options (mountain enjoyment, lake experiences, excursion destinations) for families, athletes and nature lovers make a golf holiday in Carinthia so special.
Where is your personal favorite golf course? What do you like there? Our favorite golf course is the Golfarena Bad Kleinkirchheim because - thanks to the altitude - the temperatures are still pleasant even in midsummer, there is a particularly beautiful old tree population and you might also meet Olympic champion and ski legend Franz Klemm there. Afterwards you can relax in the two thermal baths in Bad Kleinkirchheim.
Your personal favorite golf saying? Here we can quote Franz Klemm: “Golfing on the Bad Kleinkirchheim golf course is pure relaxation for me. “My home course inspires me anew with every round of golf.” two tournaments with the Austrian ski legend Franz Bracket have already been scheduled for 2024 - certainly a great opportunity to either take part yourself or watch:
