Spectacular field of participants at the TeReMeer Open for the Lexus Cup in Meerbusch from August 28, 2024

Porsche Talent Team Germany on the rise

The select field is completed by three young players from the Porsche Talent Team Germany: 19-year-old Ella Seidel from Hamburg qualified for the Australian Open this year with three wins in the preliminary round and only failed in the main field after a great fight against superstar and later tournament winner Aryna Sabalenka. Ella is currently ranked 137th in the WTA world rankings. Noha Noma Akugue, 21, sensationally reached the final of the traditional tournament at Rothenbaum in Hamburg last year and became German champion in 2020.
