The coronavirus pandemic has turned the tennis world upside down. But one thing is certain this year: the Meerbusch Municipal Utilities Tennis Open will once again feature top-class men's tennis. While the long-established tournament will not be held as an ATP Challenger event as originally planned, tournament director Marc Raffel is delighted that his tournament is part of the German Tennis Federation's "GERMAN PRO SERIES" invitational tournament series. semifinal tournament of the Tannenhof Resort German Men's Series in Meerbusch June 9th to 12th, 2020 .
After the preliminary and intermediate rounds, the eight highest-ranked German players will compete for a place in the final. Four exciting matches will take place each day, which can also be watched live on-site in accordance with the current COVID-19 hygiene regulations.
Exciting matches, spectacular rallies, and well-known German tennis stars such as Jan-Lennard Struff, Maximilian Marterer, Cedrik-Marcel Steebe, Yannick Hanfmann, Yannik Maden, and French Open doubles champion Kevin Krawietz are all likely to be in attendance.
