When did you start playing tennis?
At 16 years old, tennis was only my third sport.

Your greatest sporting tennis success?
Multiple team national championship titles South Triol, vice individual national champion over 45, best ranking Itf Senior Tour 253 for the over 35. But that is and has never been important to me!

How long have you been working as a trainer?
For almost 30 years.

How would you characterize yourself as a coach?
Sociable, entertaining, very emotional, good knowledge of tennis with a good eye for the essentials.

Your requirement: what should a TennisTraveller “take with them” after a training session with you?
That the student leaves the field feeling satisfied and well-being.

How long have you been working in the hotel, in the camp, for the tour operator?
With the Naturhotel Lechlife for 2 years, but I have had a lot of experience with other providers over the years. I worked for Robinson and for large tennis hotels in South Triol.

Three things that you ALWAYS have in your racket bag (except shoes, rackets, balls)?
Cell phone (without it is difficult these days), always a gift for children.

Your favorite (tennis) holiday spot?
Italy, but I feel comfortable anywhere on vacation.

You love your job because...
...I come into contact with lots of nice, different people and in the few meetings I can not only improve their tennis, but also put a smile on their face. Always under the motto that Roger Federer already said: “It's nice to be important. But more importantly, be kind.”
