MARA TeReMeer spring camp in Meerbusch - the tennis camp for season preparation "around the corner"


It's not just in the warm, far-away south that you can prepare perfectly for the new 2025 clay court season. This also works wonderfully in the middle of Germany, in Meerbusch near Düsseldorf. There finds vom 3rd-6th April 2025 the MARA TeReMeer spring camp instead of. Depending on the program booked, between 1.5 and 3.5 hours of on-court training on technique, tactics and footwork are carried out on a total of seven clay courts every day. Plus morning and afternoon fitness as well as an interesting daily tennis workshop. Top coaches Marc Raffel, Karsten Focke, Stephan Frings, Stefan Reddemann and Ray Shimizu are available to you as coaches. The camp is Suitable for TennisTraveller of all levels and ages and can also be booked on a daily basis. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can simply train on the hard court in the tennis hall. And if you still need accommodation, you can choose between various hotel offers.

MARA TeReMeer spring camp - the perfect preparation for the season in Meerbusch

For those who shy away from the expense of a tennis camp in southern climes, the MARA TeReMeer spring camp the perfect alternative for successful preparation for the season.

From 3rd to 6th April 2025, the outdoor clay courts of the Meerbusch Sports and Tennis Resort the ideal venue. Marc Raffel, qualified sports teacher, DTB A coach and ex-Bundesliga player, leads the camp and is supported by Karsten Focke, Stephan Frings, Stefan Reddemann (all qualified sports teachers), Ray Shimizu, Marvin Cosentino and other experienced trainers.

If the weather is bad, we can use the great TeReMeer indoor tennis courts.

 Camp routine

  • Tennis training preferably in groups of 4: training sessions start at 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.; Free play is possible from 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
  • Technique, tactics and match training.
  • Morning fitness (approx. 20 minutes) and afternoon fitness (approx. 45 minutes), including tennis-specific athletic training.
  • Daily workshop (approx. 30 minutes) with topics related to tennis at lunchtime.
  • Lunch and dinner are available daily in the TeReMeer Bistro at your own expense.
  • Optional joint visit to Düsseldorf's old town.
  • Each participant receives an exclusive camp t-shirt.
  • Stringing service available on-site at the Pro Shop.
  • Hotel recommendations: B&B Hotel Neuss, Mercure Kaarst, Hotel Landsknecht and Lindner Hotel Düsseldorf Seestern.

Basic training content for all age and performance classes (from hobby players to pros) includes technique, tactics, match training and fitness units.
