The PMTR Tennis Academy in Mülheim an der Ruhr has been a performance-oriented tennis academy in the heart of the Ruhr area for more than 20 years under the direction of Uwe Schumann.
Since it was founded, it has developed into one of the leading academies far beyond the borders of North Rhine-Westphalia and is constantly growing. She currently looks after 400 players at three locations. The secret of success is the holistic development concept, which leads from toddler tennis from the age of four in the self-developed SIT children's tennis area through the PMTR performance area to high-performance tennis. The academy also places particular focus on athletics: every tennis training session is therefore linked to an athletic unit.
In addition, the PMTR organizes national and international tournaments, tennis camps for all levels and ages, tournament trips, workshops and webinars throughout the year.
