Casual tennis hotel ideal for families on the island of Brač in Croatia right by the sea with a huge tennis facility
The Croatian island of Brač is a little gem. For a casual and sporty tennis holiday, the Bluesun Holiday Village Bonaca, an ideal tennis hotel with a good price-performance ratio, is waiting for you. It is not for nothing that the Village is a very popular holiday spot for families and tennis teams.
Hotel description
You can reach the island of Brač either with your own car. To Split, then take the ferry to the island and then a short hop to Bol. Admittedly quite a “ride”. You can have it more conveniently by plane: the island itself has a small airport, which is mainly served directly in the summer months. Otherwise, the best option is to fly to Split, where you can get a transfer to Bol Patricio Travel
3-star hotel (national category) located by the sea consists of a main building, eight pavilions and six terraced houses. 188 double rooms of various categories in the pavilions 48 family rooms (approx. 35 m 2 ) in the terraced houses. All rooms are functionally furnished, sufficiently large and have a small terrace or balcony - some with a sea view.
The pebble beach is 150 meters away and in just a few minutes walk you are either at the world-famous Golden Horn or in the beautiful old town of Bol.
You can swim either in the freshwater pool (with a separate children's pool) at the hotel or in the sea, which slopes gently into the sea over a pebble beach. Parasols and loungers are included at the pool, but unfortunately you have to pay for them at the sea. In high season there is usually an animation program for young and old.
tennis
The tennis facility right next to the hotel is huge and includes a total of 26 clay courts , including two center courts and a real "tennis stadium" with 2,000 seats . 8 of the pitches are equipped with floodlights. In the Tennis Point Store, which is located in the "clubhouse", you can stock up on all tennis equipment and have your rackets tested or strung. tennis panorama bar is particularly great - here you have a good view over most of the complex and a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
In this Patricio Travel you can professional tennis courses at the PCT Tennis Academy - for all levels and for all ages, whether in a group or alone - you are sure to find the right offer for you here.
More sports offerings
Other sports options include table tennis, darts, boccia, beach volleyball, a multi-purpose sports field, bicycle rental, a surfing and diving trial lesson and, for a fee, kayaks, pedal boats, water and jet skis, banana boats, parasailing, windsurfing and a diving station. A small fitness room is also a must. So there is plenty of choice next to the tennis court.
Wellness
Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't really have anything to offer in terms of wellness. the neighboring Bluesun Grand Hotel Elaphusa has a great wellness and spa offer that can be requested.
Catering
For many, especially families, a casual vacation includes an all-inclusive package . And that's what you get here in the hotel, starting with breakfast, late riser's breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not to forget the coffee hour with cake and the midnight snack. National alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic drinks are also included in the price. Lunch and dinner are always offered in buffet form. Some TennisTraveller find the buffets too monotonous, others praise the selection of fish and meat. Either way - it's always a matter of taste and everyone will always find something tasty for themselves at the large buffets.
