College Tennis Webinar for Parents - an overview of everything you need to know about tennis scholarships and college tennis
How does my child get a tennis scholarship to a US college? What do we parents need to consider? How can we best support our child in this diverse process, from the first rough idea to the very concrete big step across the pond? Questions upon questions that we asked ourselves quite suddenly last year when our daughter Mia expressed her desire to go to the USA on a tennis scholarship after graduating from high school. This wish became reality and Mia has been in South Carolina for almost a year. I wrote a five-part series on our blog about how she got there, as Mia, but especially us parents, “experienced and lived through” the entire application process right up to departure. The response to the series was incredibly great!
hostedwebinar specifically for parents with Sandy Franz from Keystone Sports in which I shared my experiences as the mother of a student athlete. From the idea to the big step across the Atlantic. With everything that needs to be considered and done in between - and that's really a lot. And openly and honestly, just as you are used to from us.
Regardless of whether you have just started to think about college tennis or are already in the middle of the application process, you will definitely get one or two very helpful tips from the recording.

TennisTraveller - Owner and Mom of a Student Athlete
I'm not only involved in tennis with the TennisTraveller . As the mother of a tennis-crazy family with three children, it was actually not surprising that our eldest daughter Mia wanted to go to a US college on a tennis scholarship after graduating from high school. Actually... Because a lot of things were very surprising and different than expected. Today Mia has been in the States for almost a year and the next child is already in the starting blocks and wants to apply for a tennis scholarship in 2025. So we are still “in the middle of the process”!
