Padel is not only THE current trend sport in general, but is also very important to you. Since when have you been offering padel and why did you jump on this trend so early?
We built padel courts for the first time in the Ali Bey facilities in 2019. At this point, local attention was becoming more and more popular and guests were showing interest in the sport. We have been offering organized padel trips since 2023, as we also had the majority of our PCT trainers trained as padel coaches on site in spring 2023. The German head coach Yannik Mann took over this coaching training for us. We have observed the development of padel, especially in Europe, in recent years and have noticed that this type of sport can be perfectly combined with our sports travel product.
What potential do you see in the trend sport of padel? And what synergies arise for us tennis players?
Padel is a racket sport that is much easier than tennis for first rallies. This means that beginners can show their first successes more quickly, but passionate tennis players can also get started straight away. Even if the technology may not be right here, the fun factor is still extremely high, as padel is only played in doubles and the community factor is therefore significantly higher.
In which destinations do you offer padel?
You can play padel at Ali Bey Club Manavgat**** and at Ali Bey Resort Sorgun***** . Both complexes are beautifully located on the Turkish Aegean Sea. On Crete, padel fans get their money's worth at the Kalimera Kriti Hotel & Village***** . and on Mallorca we have a great padel spot at Na Taconera Sport & Relax****

The Patricio Checkpoint Padelacademy, like the Patricio Checkpoint Tennis Academy, lives the idea of learning padel in a natural way using our own biomechanical teaching method. Customers can particularly look forward to training based on our 5 checkpoints, the event nature of our course weeks and quick successes on the court! 😉

Yes, of course! Four different padel courses can be booked in spring and autumn:

Gancho - courses for children and young peopleGroups of 8 full-paying adults or more receive special group discounts (according to the group package). In the summer from around mid-May to mid-September we offer special padel courses for both adults and children.
What plans do you have for 2025 when it comes to padel offerings?
We are offering groups and trainer trips in the field of padel in 2025 with our special, unique Patricio Travel group packages. We also offer our PCP courses for individual customers. We are also currently in the process of planning a padel camp for spring 2025 with a world-famous star coach.
