Since when has Dunlop been offering padel products?
We have been offering padel items for many years.
The sport has long been particularly popular in Spain, where it is on a par with tennis. We are perceived as a padel brand, not least because Dunlop “invented” the padel ball. Compared to a tennis ball, it is slightly smaller and does not bounce as high.
Do you play padel yourself?
What fascinates you about the sport? I've only just started.
What I find particularly appealing is that players of different skill levels can have a lot of fun together. When my wife and I are on the court with the children, we all have a lot of fun. Important to mention: non-tennis players also get their money's worth.
How do you assess the current padel boom in Germany?
How and in what form will padel establish itself in your opinion? In my opinion, the padel boom in Germany can no longer be stopped and that's a good thing. If more padel courts are available, the growth curve will go up exponentially.
