Hot exclusive camp “Tennis ON FIRE” in the Hotel zum Mohren in Reutte in Tyrol with the Pro Tennis School and many enlightening highlights
Our last TennisTraveller exclusive camp in 2024 was another absolute camp highlight! Under the motto “Tennis ON FIRE” we were guests at the Hotel zum Mohren in Reutte in Tyrol from November 14th to 17th, 2024. Of course, the participants were on fire during the three-day tennis training with Andreas Gerstgrasser and I's Pro Tennis School. It was particularly hot during the cardio tennis, which made everyone sweat profusely and ensured a good atmosphere, but also sore muscles. But that's not all: we also put together a wonderful, "hot" supporting program away from the tennis court. The camp was timed so that it coincided with one of the absolute event highlights in Reutte. At the opening of "Reutte on Ice" rocked with Beatrice Egli and various DJs, at Ehrenberg Castle we immersed ourselves in the world of lights of the LuMagica and were able to enjoy a gourmet menu with wine accompaniment in the hotel. All in all, once again a very special exclusive camp that all participants really enjoyed. And like in the previous exclusive camps, we were a wonderful group, had a lot to talk about and laugh about - we were almost always "ON FIRE". You can find out what it looked like on the four days of camp and what we experienced in my travel report here. The excellent participant feedback made the hotel, the Pro Tennis School and of course me especially happy!
Out of the fog, into the sun in the Reutte nature park region
Off to the sun - that doesn't always have to mean off to the south and into the warmth. Not only that our exclusive camp had the motto “Tennis ON Fire”. I was also totally on fire on the day of arrival when, after days of constant fog, I drove through the border tunnel near Füssen towards Reutte and the sun shone like in a picture book. On Saturday, the preparations in the hotel were quickly completed with the packing of the welcome bags, so that there was still time to take a short walk along the Lech and a short detour to the tennis hall before the evening get-together.
In the evening our group met for a welcome drink . After the short introduction from our coach Andreas Gerstgrasser and the planned program, we quickly went to dinner. And it quickly became clear: very, very nice and open tennis people had come together again, all of whom were looking forward to four brilliant days of tennis. This time I was particularly pleased that we had the first “repeat offender”. And this is already the fourth exclusive camp ever. So the concept fits!
There are no problems, only solutions - the training concept of the Pro Tennis School
On Friday and Saturday we trained for a total of 2.5 hours per group in the morning and afternoon. On Sunday there was another 1.5 hour training per group. Andreas had put together a well-thought-out program for the camp, which, in addition to drill exercises, also included game-oriented forms of exercise. Solutions and concepts were always presented and implemented visually in each exercise block. Existing problems with various fields were "worked on" with solutions that were directly applicable to all of them. These concepts led to absolute AHA experiences multiple times every day. Exactly what you should take home with you from a short camp like this. No technical training, but solution-oriented instructions and recommendations with which each participant can better master their "problematics" and "problem situations".
A highlight was certainly the cardio training with Jürgen on Saturday afternoon. We went full throttle for an hour with hot beats, lots of sweating and running. The pulse got pretty high, but everyone had a lot of fun! The final “Jamaica Game” provided plenty of fun and entertainment!
Hot beats, sea of lights and culinary delights - a perfect supporting program
On Friday evening, right after our delicious dinner, an absolute highlight awaited us: the opening of Reutte on Ice. The entire village square was converted into a large open-air arena, everything around was wonderfully illuminated, including the beautiful ice skating rink. The main act of the evening was Beatrice Egli. But the DJs also really heated things up. Our camp hotel was ideal for the evening because it was right next to the village square. This meant that one or the other could warm up in the hotel or sit down at the cozy bar a little earlier.
It was a little quieter, but no less "hot" on Saturday evening when we went to Ehrenberg Castle in the dark before dinner. The LuMagica was opened there, various beautiful light installations that transform the entire castle ruins into a sea of lights. Back at the hotel we were treated to a 5-course meal with wine accompaniment - an absolute culinary delight that everyone enjoyed very much.
Speaking of enjoyment: we had that in our camp hotel throughout our entire stay. Beautiful rooms, a great breakfast buffet, which was a great way to fortify yourself for the day at camp. Delicious food in the evening and a nice bar where we made ourselves comfortable every evening. Not to forget the beautiful wellness area and the indoor swimming pool, which provided relaxation for many and was a perfect prophylaxis for sore muscles.
As in the previous camps, there was nothing but great feedback from the participants
So that we could find out in detail how our camp participants experienced the camp, they were given an opportunity to give feedback after the camp along with a nice selection of photos. The conclusion was once again excellent, which of course made me very happy!
My big thanks go to Andreas Gerstgarsser from the ProTennisschool and his team, our host Roland Ruepp with the team from the Hotel zum Mohren and Sandra Schneider from the Reutte Tourism Association ! We had a great time with and with you - THANK YOU 😍
" Top tennis training with lots of new aspects. Ehrenberg was the M3ga highlight of the highlights.
Top organized in all areas."

" Absolutely thrilled with Andi and Susanne's training. I got a lot out of it because you work with concepts and stimulate your own thinking. Everything was very well organized. "
