Our second camp diary: this time from the tennis camp in Naturns with tennis training from the European Tennis Academy

And it's Easter again! Time to look for Easter baskets filled with chocolate bunnies and chocolate eggs. But Easter is also one thing for us tennis players: tennis camp time!

Last year I was near Darmstadt with two of our children - the kids took part in the Waske Tennis Academy's Easter camp for 5 days. A great and intensive week that we can highly recommend to every child and young person.

We recorded the entire camp week in a very detailed camp diary .

Off to South Tyrol - to the Naturns tennis camp

This year there were slightly different family conditions and wishes, which will take us towards Merano, or more precisely to Naturns, from Good Friday. The children will train there for 5 days Naturns tennis camp European Tennis Academy . And of course we are really looking forward to it!

European Tennis Academy us its training program in advance , from which the children were able to choose a total of 5 training focuses. The kids quickly agreed and chose:

• Technique of basic strokes with the motto: “More self-confidence through conscious technique”
• Minimize unforced errors - motto: Today I gain more security
• Serve and return - motto: No serve, no return, no win
• Beating winners made easy - motto: No risk, no fun
• Tactical moves for the individual - motto: Today I have a solution for everything
  
  

I thought this selection was extremely good in advance and now, like the kids, I'm excited to see how the training topics will be implemented on the pitch.

The plan is for the children to tackle the respective training focuses in the morning and implement them in a sparring and training match in the afternoon. There will be no athletic training at this Easter camp through the tennis camp - mom and dad can then get involved. But it's also fun together and gives everyone the fitness they need for the clay court season.

Familiar and proven combination - holiday apartment and tennis

We will live in an apartment just outside of Naturns - of course I will tell you about that too. Now it's time to make the final preparations before the tennis family travels to South Tyrol, one of our favorite parts of Italy.
