Travel scout Matz reports from the padel camp in ROBINSON SARIGERME PARK
Like the lid on the pot - our travel scout Matz fit into the padel camp with Yannik Mann at the end of June in ROBINSON SARIGERME PARK in Turkey. After an initial preliminary discussion, it was clear to me that we had once again hit the jackpot when it came to Travel Scout. Matz, as an absolute padel fan and well-traveled TennisTraveller , was the ideal person to test the ROBINSON SARIGERME PARK and also the 5-day padel camp with the padel man Yannik Mann. I hoped that our padel expert Yannik and Matz would become the “padel dream double” during the holiday week. But the fact that the chemistry with the coaching team and the other camp participants, including none other than the beach volleyball Olympic champion Julius Brink, works so well away from the padel courts was a particularly great joy for me! The boys not only had a lot of fun playing padel games together during the week, but also a lot more. But now it's best to read for yourself how Matz experienced his padel week. Thank you Matz for your great feedback and have fun on the padel and tennis courts in this universe!
And from now on we'll let Matz have his say
"I have just returned from a fantastic week-long padel training camp at Robinson Club “Sarigerme Park” (Turkey).
The camp was led by women's national team coach Yannik Mann, the "padel man", and Adrian Laege, who did a fantastic job and took us to the next level of padel playing 🤩 (including the obligatory stretching exercises after the training sessions we have achieved new, unprecedented mobility 😉). The training group was absolutely amazing and we had a lot of fun not only on the court but also off it.
So we also took advantage of other activities from the Robinson Club's extensive range of sports (great MTB cycling tour with Sadek, tennis with Roman, surfing, gym, etc.).
The club and its employees contributed the rest. We received a warm welcome and were always provided with chilled drinks and fruit at the edge of the two padel courts during our training sessions and our Americano tournaments.
The food was overwhelming; very diverse and refined with Turkish specialties. The club complex offers large, very clean rooms with balconies and a beautifully located beach with very fine sand and a great nautic base.
All of this is highly recommended and the week was actually far too short. There can only be one thing: come back and enjoy again.
My special thanks again go to Susanne Köpf, who chose me as a Robinson travel scout for this camp and made this unforgettable week possible for me.
Thank you very much for that and best regards, Matz "
