Over 5 mornings they will show you how to improve your game to be even more successful. There will also be an off court program where you can learn more about preparing for your matches, how to take sensible breaks during matches and about positive body language.
The five-star Kalimera Kriti Hotel & Village Resort is only 44 kilometers from Heraklion Airport, so you can quickly start your tennis holiday after landing in Crete. The resort is spread over 60 hectares of land right on the beautiful sea and consists of a main building and three Cretan-style villages with lots of stone and whitewashed walls. The now 52-year-old, who trained with Günther Bosch (Boris Becker's coach), among others, in his youth, was the first German to win a young people's Grand Slam tournament.
The Australian Open 1990. His best placement in the men's singles world rankings was 118th place in 1996. With the TK Grün-Weiss Mannheim he was twice German team champion in the Tennis Bundesliga and is still the player with the most victories in the history of the league .
After his time as a player, Dirk's coaching career began as an association coach (2001-2006) for the Saarland Tennis Association.
From 2007 to 2016 he was a partner at a tennis school in Saarbrücken. As a personal coach, he looked after, among others, Anna Lena Grönefeld (5 years) and, in 2019, Angelique Kerber. Dirk has been part of the team of national coaches of the German Tennis Association since 2017. He was assistant coach of the German Billie Jean King Cup team for 18 years and the Saarland native has been assistant coach of the German Davis Cup team for nine years.
Education: Qualified tennis trainer in the DOSB, A-trainer and staarl.
Certified tennis instructor, USPTA Pro1 30 years as DTB honorary national coach Achievements include Vice World Cup with team U 16, semi-final with team U 14, long-time coach of Jan Lennart Stuff, Davis Cup team, ATP Top 50 Long-time coach of Danilidou WTA 11, Singer Top 50.
40 years of training for C, B, A trainers for the German Tennis Association and Westphalian Tennis Association.
