Pure tennis - an Arabian holiday dream like from the Arabian Nights

Holidays right by the sea, excellent cuisine, Arabic flair in typical local architecture . And 7 tennis courts as well as a range of sports on the water or on land that knows almost no limits. You can experience this and enjoy it to the fullest at the ROBINSON DJERBA BAHIYA from the end of March to the beginning of November on the Tunisian island of Djerba.

 Hotel description

The club is located about 30km from Djerba airport - the transfer time takes about 40 minutes and is located on almost 95,000 km ² of very well-maintained property and has beautiful gardens . In 2015 the club was taken over by ROBINSON and renovated. The 396 double and family rooms are spread across the buildings built in typical local architecture, some of which have 4 floors. With the many turrets and ornaments, you almost feel like you are in a fairy tale from 1001 Nights. The rooms themselves are quite recently renovated and have a modern interior.

There are 7 clay for tennis players of all levels - 3 of which can also be played at night under floodlights.
Court rental is of course included in the all-inclusive club - you can also borrow HEAD rackets for free. Guest tournaments, trial offers and a training offer where everyone can find the right course, whether as individual or group training. Individual training costs €45 per hour, group training for four per hour costs €15 per person. There are special prices for children.

 Other sports

ROBINSON clubs stand for a sports program without limits : here in the club you have a fitness studio with cardio and strength equipment, a power plate station, and an indoor cycling room. The range of fitness courses on offer certainly leaves nothing to be desired and has a strenuous course for every muscle group!

Surfing - sailing - kiting: The sea sports offer a great area for beginners and advanced sailors; you can rent equipment at the water station. Courses can also be booked there (for a fee). If you want to try out kiting or are already able to, you will find optimal conditions here. stand-up paddling at your leisure - no problem: boards can be rented for a fee. The golfer's heart will be happy on the 3x9 hole units in the club: golfing directly by the sea, under palm groves, wonderful. Golf courses are offered for all levels and also for children (for a fee), free trial golf is available once a week. Anyone who loves competition can tee off at the weekly guest tournament. Yes, and what else is happening in the club? Lots of things, including: beach volleyball, football in the soccer arena, table tennis, water polo, etc. Otherwise there is the animation program - discreetly in the background - if you want, you can, but you don't have to. A nightclub awaits all night owls and party animals - there is also a small midnight snack to fortify you. The club facilities are a dream for : if you like and have children who enjoy entertainment, you can have them looked after for almost the entire day, depending on their age. Swimming courses are even offered.

 Wellness

The club has a total of three pools : a beautiful curved outdoor pool, a children's pool and a heated indoor pool (77m ² ) - just in case. The gently sloping sea is right in front of the club door - here on the beach you can simply relax and unwind. The spa area is an Arabian-style wellness oasis with a Finnish sauna, sanarium with sea views, and bio sauna. Of course, a Turkish hammam is a must - but it costs a bit. The relaxation area with an indoor relaxation pool gives you plenty of space to relax and dream. There are several massage and beauty rooms as well as the corresponding treatment program - the selection is really big!

 Catering

ROBINSON clubs stand for all-inclusive catering - and at a high level . You can eat and drink here almost all day long - with a few special exceptions, drinks are included in the price. The club has two restaurants: a main restaurant with a large outdoor terrace, which is partially converted into a "wine terrace" in the evenings. Seats must be reserved there and drinks cost extra there. At the beach restaurant there is a delicious menu in the evening. 's particularly great is the so-called taste jam , where street food feels at mobile stands every 14 days - music included.

 Vicinity

From the club you can explore the island of Djerba and, for example, visit island's capital Houmt Souk Experience the bustling and colorful bazaars and enjoy the view from the former pirate fortress Bordj el Kebir. You shouldn't miss the archaeological site of the ancient city of Meninx
