In the second part of our Tennis & Wellness special, we open the spa doors of the 5-star Hotel Andreus Golf & Spa Resort in St. Leonhard in South Tyrol. The hotel, or rather the extremely nice marketing manager Michaela, answered our interview questions together with the spa and wellness team.
When it comes to tennis and wellness at the Andreus Golf & Spa Resort in the Passeier Valley just above Meran, you have one thing in common: the fantastic panoramic view that will certainly delight you. The hotel and the two tennis courts are wonderfully integrated into the slope, so that you can enjoy the mountain panorama while being active on the tennis court as well as from one of the panoramic relaxation rooms or the panoramic sauna. And this “looking into the distance” definitely contributes to “coming down”:
But now let's get started with our questions, because ultimately we want to find out a little more about the spa and wellness area at the Andreus Golf & Spa Resort :
The spa area in our 5 star tennis and wellness hotel has a total of over 8,000m 2 and offers a total of 5 heated pools , a refreshing swimming pond, a huge Mediterranean garden, a large sauna area with several relaxation areas and the new fitness tower with an adults-only relaxation area and infinity pool .
The Andreus Sauna World, which is 2,000 m 2 has a total of 12 different saunas , from the classic steam sauna, bio sauna and Finnish sauna to very special highlights: the Panorama Event Sauna with up to 5 show infusions daily, the Steam Bath Event Sauna or the brine inhalation room .
This area is adults only. For families, there is a dress on sauna in the pool area with a steam bath, Finnish sauna and infrared sauna.
We currently have 25 employees in the spa & fitness area: 18 beauticians and masseurs, physiotherapists and hairdressers as well as 7 fitness and sauna specialists.
The variety of offerings here at the Andreus Wellness Hotel is very large; we recommend swimming in the heated pools, the infrared heated loungers in the sauna area or relaxation units as part of the active fitness program such as yoga, singing bowl relaxation or back fit.
It's best to book a private lesson with a personal trainer or physiotherapist. Here these ailments are treated individually.
Relax by the pools or by the fireplace, an exciting sauna infusion from the world champion team, dinner in the panoramic restaurant on the 5th floor with a wonderful view of the Passeir mountains and then a really restful sleep in the pine rooms with a view of the Starry sky directly above the bed.
Brand new in our range we have a warm up gel (to be applied before exercise) and a cool down gel (to be applied after exercise) from Alpienne.
