Andreus Golf & Spa Resort is located on the sunny side of the slope between St. Martin and St. Leonhard in the Passeier Valley in South Tyrol . For all golfers among you, this TennisTraveller hotel is paradise - the golf course is right next to the two tennis courts at the hotel. Within a short distance you are in Meran (15 minutes by car) or Bolzano (40 minutes) and you can experience the unique South Tyrolean flair there.

 Hotel description

The Andreus Resort has been almost world-famous since the German national team's preparation camp for the World Cup in 2014. The owners, the lovely Fink family, are a real family of hoteliers who have been hosts in their cradle. You can also notice this in the hotel, where someone from the Fink family is always around and available for a chat. And the employees also maintain this extremely friendly and casual approach - not common in every 5-star hotel in this category - sometimes it gets a bit "off" - that's definitely not the case at Andreus.

With 73 rooms, the resort is also manageable in size. The resort includes a total of three different hotels: the TennisTraveller Hotel Sonnenalm , which is about a 5-minute drive away, and the new golf lodge, located about 400 meters below the Andreus Golf & Spa Resort. From the junior suite to the 230 m ² mountain lodge, you can book yourself luxuriously here - but that also comes at a hefty price.

Above the hotel are the two sand courts where Andreus guests for free . The same applies to bats and balls. If the two courts are full or there are not enough for your tennis group, you can play on another 3 clay courts at TennisTraveller -Hotel Sonnenalm .

For tennis training, a trainer from the Sunball tennis school, which is sure to be well-known to many, is available to you at any time - whether as a strong sparring partner or as a trainer for individual or group lessons for all levels of play. At 40 euros, the training session is really cheap for a hotel of this category.  

 More sports offerings

The Andreus guests are one thing: sporty! And not just on the tennis court. 18-hole Passeier.Meran golf course starts directly at the hotel and a driving range invites all golfers. Everything right on your doorstep. Just like the golf school with 2 golf instructors .

Anyone who would like to seek their happiness on horseback is in the right place at Andreus: the horse's own riding stable with school horses and an in-house riding school make horse's heart beat faster.

For swimmers there is a 33 meter sports pool with timekeeping - often used by triathletes for training. In the Andreus Sport Area you will find a beach volleyball court and an artificial turf pitch. In the new fitness tower , everyone who wants to do sports will find something: yoga courses, BBP training, Pilates and and and...

Mountain bikes can be rented for free - eBikes cost a little. There are also guided tours. Yes, and in South Tyrol you can of course do one wonderful thing: hiking !

 Wellness

spa & wellness area extends over 7,000 m ² : 6 different saunas, steam and brine inhalation room, snow and ice room, brine pool and an infrared sensory tunnel. Beautiful relaxation rooms ensure the best relaxation. The indoor/outdoor pool, which is heated all year round, is connected via a lock and is a very pleasant 34 degrees. New since 2018 is the Adult Only Zone with an infinity pool on the 5th floor with wonderful panoramic views.

 Catering

In the hotel you will be spoiled with culinary delights with a 3/4 board: a gigantic breakfast buffet, afternoon cakes and small snacks as well as a 6-course gourmet menu in the evening are included in the overnight price. Food at 5-star level! Dining takes place in different rooms and rooms - the panoramic restaurant on the 5th floor is particularly great.

There are countless opportunities to explore the beautiful mountain world around the Andreus all year round. The hotel can give great tips here. The Passeier Valley itself is a very “narrow” valley and it really goes straight up quite jaggedly. But with the right tour selection you will find it  

And even for city kids and shopping queens, the route to Meran or Bozen is really just a stone's throw. You shouldn't miss great shops and a really interesting weekly market. Wine connoisseurs drive a little further towards Lake Kaltern with numerous wineries and wineries. And culturally, this corner of South Tyrol also offers a lot to see.
