Tennis camps for youth at the Saddlebrook Tennis Academy in Tampa in sunny Florida

Saddlebrook Tennis Academy is considered one of the best tennis academies in Florida and ranks among the top programs in the country year after year. Top tennis players such as Alexander Zverev, John Isner and Andy Roddick have already trained here. Every year many talented tennis players come to Saddlebrook and improve their game tremendously through excellent training, hard work, discipline and motivation. The juniors train for up to five hours a day on the award-winning tennis facility, making new friends and enjoying social activities with other juniors.

The year-round tennis program for players aged 12 to 20 includes training on and off the court, including specific drills for consistency and accuracy, as well as match play under the supervision of the professional coaching team. After years of experience and proven success with professional players, the junior program was designed to improve each student's technical, tactical and mental performance. The peak season for camps is during US school holidays, vacations and the summer months.

 Course of a camp day

A typical day includes court check-in, followed by stretching, a morning session, lunch and an afternoon session. Students receive five hours of instruction per day for all ability levels (including match play). Private lessons are available daily for an additional fee. 

• 7:45 a.m. Check-in at the artificial turf pitch for daily pitch assignment, followed by Dynamic Movement & Morning Stretch
• 8:00 a.m. Line up in the assigned spots for the morning session
• 11:00 am End of morning session - recommended lunch: TD's or Poolside Café
• 12:50pm check-in at the artificial turf field for pitch assignment, followed by dynamic exercise and afternoon stretching
• 1:00 p.m. Report to the assigned places for the afternoon session
• 3:00 p.m. End of the afternoon session

Camp days can be booked individually and without overnight stay:

• Full Days – $175.00
• Half Days (AM or PM) – $120.00

 Junior overnight tennis camps at Saddlebrook Resort

The weekly programs include overnight stays at the Saddlebrook Resort and can also be booked by kids and teens without parents. Support for eel travelers is available on site. In addition to the daily training according to the above procedure, there is also a shared dinner and leisure activities in the evening.

• Six nights in shared and supervised accommodation in student suites, Sunday to Saturday as part of the weekly program (additional nights possible on request)
• Three nutritious meals daily (starting with dinner on Sunday and ending with breakfast on Saturday)
• Saddlebrook shirt

Junior campers in our boarding program are housed in junior suites. Each unit consists of two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, living/dining area, kitchen and terrace or balcony. Juniors share accommodation with other juniors and are supervised by Resident Assistants (RAs).
Airport transport is possible, but involves additional costs.
