The exclusive peninsula location makes the traditional Parkhotel Pörtschach something very special. Surrounded by a 40,000m ² hotel park, the four-star superior hotel is prominently and quietly surrounded by Lake Wörthersee. From the outside, the charm of the 60s impresses. However, this is deliberately maintained as the architectural style of the hotel is a kind of cult object for many. Tradition is respected and that's a good thing. Especially since the hotel offers a wonderful mix of modernity and areas that have been consciously renovated in the retro style of the 60s. The total of 195 rooms, family apartments and suites are spread over seven floors, have all been converted and shine in warm red tones or subtle pastel colors, wonderfully combined with wood and comfortable furniture. All rooms are very spacious and offer a fascinating view of Lake Wörthersee and the surrounding area from the balcony.

The hotel is also ideal for a family vacation . The family apartments can accommodate up to six people. During the high season in July and August, varied childcare for children aged three and over takes place on five days. The large hotel park with a climbing castle and plenty of space to play and run around is simply perfect and is also used for action camps with various exercise games as part of childcare.

Tennis has a long tradition in Pörtschach: points were fought for as early as 1896 as part of an official tennis tournament. Even back then, the players appreciated the excellent playing and training conditions. That hasn't changed to this day. You can book tennis training on site as individual or group training for adults and children . Special tennis packages can be booked as well as individual arrangements for your tennis team.
In bad weather or in the cool months, there is a two-field hall available in the sports arena, which is just a few minutes' walk away. So nothing stands in the way of your tennis training all year round.

You can eat either in the spacious hotel restaurant, which has been renovated in a 60s design, where you have the impression through the panoramic windows that you have Lake Wörthersee right at your feet.
