 Hotel description

From Palermo Airport it is a 1/2 hour drive to the Verdura Resort a Rocco Forte Hotel. Once across the island we go from north to south towards the small town of Sciacca. When you arrive at the resort, you will immerse yourself in your own little holiday world right by the sea. The hotel and surrounding golf courses extend over 230 hectares. Beautiful green spaces as far as the eye can see on an approximately two kilometer private beach section with fine, white sand.

The rooms and suites are distributed across individual, maximum two-story buildings with a modern, cubic design and nestle perfectly into nature. So you have the choice between 168 rooms and 35 suites . There are different features per category. Of course there are also family rooms and suites. No matter which room type you choose, you can expect really spacious rooms, very stylish and chicly furnished . The absolute highlight are the terraces or balconies, from which you have the feeling of being directly connected to nature and the sea.

If you are traveling with your family and want lots of space and privacy, you can rent one of the 20 private villas , which can accommodate up to nine people. An absolute dream with a private pool of 60 ^m2 . The 20 private villas were reopened in 2021. By the way, there is professional care for your children in Verdùland .

On the beautifully located tennis facility in the resort you will find three clay courts - all equipped with floodlights. Our own clubhouse with a tennis shop (racquets, clothing, stringing service, etc.) and a tennis bar with a wonderful terrace are prepared for all eventualities and wishes before, during or after the match. If you want, you can book tennis training at the Sunball tennis school . Individual and group training as well as special courses for adults and children are offered. Racket rental is also possible, as is stringing your rackets. There are regular pro tennis camps throughout the year.

 More sports offerings

It's not just tennis that is very important at the Verdura Resort a Rocco Forte Hotel. Golf lovers will fall in love with this golf spot as the resort is located in the middle of two golf courses. There are two  18-hole and one 9-hole courses , some of whose fairways lie directly on the sea. Golf trainers are available at the Golf Academy all year round. In addition, special football camps offered in the “Juventus Academy”. There are fencing and karate academies , swimming courses for the little ones. There are no limits on the water: SUP, windsurfing, kayaking, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, jet skis and much more can be rented and tested for a fee. But there is also a lot to discover underwater. Special diving courses for kids and adults are on the program.

The 170 m ² fitness room is equipped with all conceivable fitness equipment at the highest level. If you want, you can take part in the daily fitness program, which includes yoga and Pilates courses. At the main building is the beautiful, large pool , from which you have a wonderful view of the sea. The elegant and spacious Verdura Spa has a 20-meter-long indoor pool and four outdoor pools that can be used as part of Thalasso therapy. A Finnish sauna, a steam bath and infrared saunas let you sweat. Wellness is very important in the resort: there are treatments and applications for all areas. Multi-day wellness and beauty packages combined with a fitness program and special nutritional recommendations round off the wellness program. There is simply nothing here that doesn't exist!

 Catering

The overnight price includes breakfast, which is best enjoyed in the Buon Giorno restaurant on the beautiful terrace with sea views. From Bircher muesli and freshly squeezed orange juice to Italian cheese specialties and the best coffee, there is nothing missing here. You can have lunch or dinner à la carte in one of the three specialty restaurants for a fee. La Zagara serves typical Sicilian cuisine. In Amare, right on the beach, fish specialties and grilled meat dishes are served. And at Liolà there is typical Italian cuisine, including wood-fired pizza and a breathtaking view of the sea. For all restaurants you must reserve a table in advance.

Snacks, cool drinks and coffee specialties are available in one of the bars: whether in the Spa Bar, the Pool Bar, the Torre Bar or the Granita . You can always expect a very special atmosphere, especially in the evening hours,

 Vicinity

There is a lot to explore in Sicily around the resort. Those interested in history should not miss the Temple of Agrigento or the Temple of Hera.
