Today there's something from the "In Test" section . After I was able to test the DUNLOP FX 500 last fall and basically fell in love with this racket, I was more than excited to see how the new DUNLOP FX 500 , which has been available to buy since the beginning of 2023, would play. Visually it definitely cuts a better figure, as the racket comes in a fresh and almost bright blue. This impressed me straight away when I unpacked it! But since appearances are secondary even with a racket, the match with my son got down to business. And what can I say: the new DUNLOP FX 500 has gone a step further compared to its predecessor, which was already brilliant to play. And that in terms of speed and control. But it's best to read and see for yourself!
Part three of the tennis gloss "Anders hing'looks" by Heinz Schwarz , author of the book "Are you still playing real tennis or are you already winning something?" is entitled "Coach me like Djokovic" and attempts to transfer training approaches that Heinz experienced and practiced when training the young Novak Djokovic at the Niki Pilic Academy in Munich to training approaches that can help us "normal tennis people" advance.
In order for this transfer to be successful, coaches should not try to completely change the style of play and technique of experienced tennis players and tamper with them on an epic scale. Rather, it should be the coach's job to get the best out of an experienced player's circumstances. Of course, Heinz also has helpful tips for us players. And find out why the “winner” is not always the ultimate.
As always, very entertainingly written - enjoy reading!

So much in advance: the construction project is absolutely on schedule, so you set up shop on the new TOP facility from April 1, 2023 ! It's unbelievable what can happen in a short time!
In the second part of the tennis gloss "Anders hing'looks" by Heinz Schwarz , author of the book "Are you still playing real tennis or are you already winning something?" it's about mistakes. Yes, we all know them more than well, right? After all, tennis is and remains a game of mistakes. But why do we waste points that we thought were safe, why do we leave a 100% chance in the net or on the fence? The explanation is quickly found to be a technical error: too little spin, not closing the racket enough, and whatever other crazy things we can think of. The fact that all the mistakes that happen to you have something to do with technology - Heinz clears that up in his gloss entitled " Not everything that goes wrong in tennis is also a technical mistake ".
Find out why errors in distance and errors in motivation are common sources of error, especially in hobbies and leisure activities, and how you can combat them. As always, very entertainingly written - enjoy reading!
In our string world today we will find out a lot about tennis strings and their importance for every player interview with Sandra Kirschbaum It is exciting to find out how the family business has developed over the last 35 years. It is a very special pleasure for us to have Heinz Schwarz , the author of the book "Are you still playing real tennis or are you already winning something?" for a more than entertaining gloss. Under the title “Different hing`looks” Heinz will introduce you to his very own perspective on the topic of “real tennis” in a three-part series.
“The idea of real tennis, which clearly dominates our industry, is not a closed scientific system but rather tennis teacher folklore that is passed on from one generation to another and which, let's not hide it, is also expected by the customer. However, this system is designed in such a way that, in addition to the undoubted, although usually not so spectacular, main effects (as suggested by commercial reasons), it produces a lot of irritation and a lot of stress as system-related side effects, among the students, among the teachers, between the teachers and the students and so on among the teachers,” says Heinz.
“Anders hing'wacht” is therefore primarily about perhaps better balancing the main and side effects of the desired and goal images of “real tennis”. New food for thought, perspectives and very practical examples will certainly inspire you! Let's start with part one, which is called "Two tennis teachers - three opinions". Have fun while reading!
The slackening begins immediately after stringing. Even a covering that lies unplayed in the corner is no longer “fresh” after months. Whether and to what extent you notice the loss of tension while playing depends on various factors: sensitivity of the player, material quality of the string, quality of stringing, time of use. Therefore, if you have several rackets, it always makes sense to label the rackets individually and note the stringing date.
Many players string their rackets at intervals so that a freshly strung racket is regularly available and the older one is used in training.

Hit better and avoid frame hits 😉 – All joking aside...
The stringing is always very sensitive at the eyelets, because at the moment of contact with the ball the string cannot move at the edge and may be bent at the eyelet. In the worst case, and depending on the force of the ball contact (e.g. during impact), this can also happen with fresh strings. Before stringing, a good stringer checks whether the eyelets are still intact, because depending on their condition, the eyelet can tear and thus lose its protective function. If the eyelet is defective, a Teflon tube can help or, if available, replacing the entire eyelet tape.
If the bat is still very new, you could send the bat to the supplier.
