The intensive junior tennis camp days for everyone involved at the Alexander Waske Tennis Academy are over - time to sum up. Of course we don't want to withhold this from you. Our "little one's" muscle soreness has now subsided and our older one has gotten over her severe cold and is already hitting balls hard again. What were the highs and lows in the 4 days of junior tennis camp - let's start!
The search for our Gardasse travel scout at the tennis hotel Le Balze was successful: Raphaela from Münster is our travel scout and will test tennis hotel Le Balze in Tremosine for us in 2019 for 4 days, including a 3-day tennis camp from and with the GO-TENNISURLAUB tennis school . We warmly congratulate Raphaela! She was of course extremely happy and we are excited to see when and with whom she will start her tennis journey. And of course what your Travel Scout opinion will be afterwards!

Unfortunately we still had one patient today - the “big one” is still ailing, so I gave her a break from training today. Since the whole thing had already become apparent yesterday, the training plan for day 4 at the Alexander Waske Tennis University was quickly changed . André Stenger, head coach of the juniors, quickly rescheduled the training so that our “little one” had an extra-long session totaling 2.5 hours. Really great, because a trainer at the TU was also unavailable due to illness! By the way, such long units are regularly completed here - after all, long matches sometimes cover this distance.
Yesterday's fitness session was tough again: strength training was on the agenda. First with small dumbbell weights, then on the versatile equipment in the Kempinski fitness room, the kids trained diligently and gave it their all again. This morning there was a lot of sore muscles. After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we headed to the Kempinski Hotel at 11 a.m. for the first two-hour training session as part of the junior tennis camp at the Alexander Waske Tennis University with junior coach Ivana.
A restful deep sleep, delicious breakfast at the hotel and then we headed back to the Kempinski Hotel for the first training session in the junior tennis camp at the Alexander Waske Tennis University at 9 a.m. The two tennis kids were already a bit tired in their bones, but after the 30-minute warm-up the “engine” was running smoothly again.
With the trunk full, we set off from Stuttgart at 8.30 a.m. towards Frankfurt - Neu Isenburg for the 4-day junior tennis camp at the Alexander Waske Tennis University . The first training session for our two tennis kids was supposed to start there at 1 p.m. We sped the 250 km north in a relaxed manner - surprisingly and happily, without any traffic jams. So we still had a good 1.5 hours at our destination, the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt, which we spent in the chic spa lounge.
Good things should be repeated - that's what we as a tennis family thought after the Easter tennis camp in March 2017 at the Schüttler-Waske Tennis Academy. And it didn't stop at thinking and so next week I will set off with two of our children in the direction of Offenbach, more precisely Frankfurt-Gravenbruch.
4 days of intensive training and, like on our last visit, you can follow everyday camp life via our camp diary - not quite live, but almost and with lots of sound, text and color!
At the end of September the time had come: Andreas, who had won our one-week research stay at the ROBINSON Club Djerba Bahiya , flew to the Tunisian island with his daughter. Was the stay for our two club testers a dream tennis vacation from 1001 Nights ? Of course, we don't want to withhold the beautiful travel report with some images from you. The two of them definitely had a great week and we’re really happy about that!
